Who I Am
I was born and raised in South Korea, and I accepted Jesus as my Christ at the age of nine while growing up in a Christian family and church. As I matured, I sensed God calling me into global ministry, which led me to learn English and come to Canada for the first time in 2021.
At Global Community Church, under Pastor Zoe, I experienced abundant community life and deep discipleship. That season shaped my faith and eventually brought me back to this ministry as a staff member and servant. I love connecting with people, noticing what God is doing in their lives, and joining His work through prayer, discipleship, worship, and everyday faithfulness.
What I Do
I serve as a Micro Church Leader at Global Community Church. I discern, organize worship gatherings, disciple students and neighbors, and simply do whatever God calls me to do for this church and the community around us. I am also growing in church planting and pastoral leadership by serving within this community.
Currently, I am studying in the Master of Divinity (Global Christianity & Mission) program at Tyndale Seminary to prepare for deeper discipleship and future ministry.
Why I Do It
I am a follower of Christ, and I want to become more like Him, keeping His command to make disciples of all nations. Rooted in the love described in 1 John 4:7–17, I desire to love others as God has loved me. I have received so much grace and love that I do not deserve, and I cannot keep it to myself.
I am called to love, serve, and make disciples, and I want my life to reflect the heart of Jesus.
